Petrol Pump Tanker Entry and Fuel Delivery Management
Track every fuel delivery from supplier to tank — what was invoiced, what was received, and what it did to your stock.
Invoice quantity and received quantity are two different numbers
When a tanker is decanted, the invoice says one quantity and the tank tells you another. If the dip before and after the delivery is not written down at that moment, the difference can never be proved later.
Sanchay makes the tanker entry a single record: supplier, invoice, product and quantity, the dip before delivery, the dip after delivery and the quantity actually received. Stock is updated and the purchase is created from the same entry.
The delivery then becomes part of the stock movement of the tank that received it. Expected stock includes the received quantity, the next daily dip is compared with that expected stock, and any variance shows up in the stock reports next to the delivery report.

Questions about tanker and fuel delivery
The dip of the tank is taken before and after the delivery. The difference between the two, converted with the dip chart, is the received quantity.
Sanchay shows invoice quantity and received quantity together for each delivery, so the difference is recorded on the day and available in the delivery report.
The delivery report. It is one of the stock reports, together with tank stock, dip report, stock variance and stock adjustment, so deliveries can be checked against the stock of each tank.
No. The purchase is created from the tanker entry, and it appears in the supplier ledger with its payment status.
